Connecting does not have to be intimate.  You may overhear a conversation that suggests someone is in need, or you may observe someone in need.  You may even see a news item on TV or read a story in the paper.  Look around you, there are needs to be met everywhere.  Can you help?  

Connect by doing an act of kindness for a person, a school, a church or an organization in your community.  Feeding coins into someone else's parking meter before it expires. Helping to pay for the groceries of the person ahead of you, who is short of money. 

Those are simple, spontaneous kind acts that we can do everyday.    We can create small miracles in someone else's life with just a small pay it forward gesture of kindness, if we just take some time to connect.

Try to leave a TAGG Card behind if you can, to encourage the kindness recipient, to pay forward the kindness.  

Let us initiate what our melting pot of cultures already know, understand and connect with.   We are living in some really difficult financial times, and the timing is right for us to become creative to use this pay it forward idea to help each other financially.   

This is not like giving a handout to someone who won't lift a finger to help themself, this is so much more.    We want to develop a culture where everyone, young and old, of any gender, will feel it in their heart to help someone else in genuine need and develop a caring connection. 

South Florida Connects knows that people everywhere, has the power to better someone’s life simply by doing small favors, often anonymously.  People want to do Random Acts of Kindness for others.  We are taking the initiative here in South Florida,  to encourage individuals to become Ambassadors of Kindness themselves, by paying forward any kindness to someone else.
